Sara Shakeel, widely recognised for her mesmerizing digital art, pioneers a new frontier by translating her virtual concepts into a physical exhibition.
“The Jewel System” is a reinterpretation of the solar system as a living and ‘intimate’ experience through centuries-old embroidery techniques from Pakistan and millions of crystals; while “Genesis in Jewels” at Two Taikoo Place reconceptualises the very spark of existence through a tangible and emotional experience using an interplay of light, crystals and the cosmos’ vast blackness.
